FIU Check-In is an electronic attendance system that allows students to quickly log their attendance by easily scanning a QR code that is available within all supported classrooms. This system includes features such as:
Monitor attendance data as it is being recorded.
Sync attendance data into the Canvas gradebook.
Ensure students are in checking in from class.
Take roll call or manually override attendance.
The attendance data and all of these features are available within your FIU Canvas course.
Instructor Guide
Faculty are asked to share the Student Guide with students during the first week of classes. If needed, students can contact Educational Technology Services for assistance with troubleshooting any issues.
